We’ve got a special treat for our readers today! The 411 on Reiki is written by guest blogger Sarah Woodard. It delves in to the history or Reiki. I’ve always been curious and I bet you are too. Check it out!

Chaga: Awesome Chaga Tea In The Woods
Chaga grows on birch trees near my home in northern Maine and is not very attractive, but the health benefits of chaga are extremely attractive. Crockpot Sausage and Bean Supper
Mmmmm! This is another of our favorites from the Sisters Know Best Crockpot Freezer Series. We like it so much because the sausage is actually turkey burger flavored like sausage so it’s healthy and hearty. Get the sausage seasoning recipe here. This Crockpot Sausage and Bean Supper recipe is easy to make, freezes well, and can feed a lot of people. We served it 2 different ways. I opted for it on rice and Bill put his in a wrap. Both were amazing! [Read more…]

Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken
Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken is one of those EASY Crockpot meals in the Sisters Know Best Crockpot Freezer Meal Series. I wish when I bought my ingredients I had purchased enough to make a bunch of these. I only made 2 batches of this one. 🙁 It’s healthy, quick, and flavorful! Not to mention versatile. The next time we have it, the family wants to try it as a burrito. I’m happy with it as is on rice… but I will try it with some black beans added in.
Salad in a Mason Jar
I know you have seen the post about salads in a mason jar a thousand times already but this one is a little different. I figured I better share how the salads in a jar worked best for me… let me know if you have other tips to make them even better.
