Growing up, my mom loved spicy stuff. It must be where Emily and I get it from. This is so easy to make and will definitely heat things up! This is our most Super Bowl friendly crockpot recipe of the Crockpot Freezer Meal Series.
The original recipe didn’t call for blue cheese or feta and only for half of the ranch dressing but I felt it needed a little more to cut the flavor of the hot sauce.
Crockpot Buffalo Chicken

Ingredients
- 3-4 Chicken Breasts
- 1 12 ounce bottle Hot Sauce
- 1 Package Dry Ranch Dressing (Hidden Valley Ranch is my favorite)
- 2 Tablespoons Butter (optional)
- Blue Cheese or Feta Cheese (optional)
- Burger Rolls or Rice (For Day of Cooking to Serve On)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients except butter, cheese and rolls or rice in a gallon freezer bag and freeze.
- Thaw in refrigerator the day before cooking.
- Place ingredients of freezer bag in crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- 1/2 hour before serving add butter and shred chicken.
- Serve over rice or on burger rolls covered in blue cheese or feta cheese.
