Get Rid of Ants Naturally

Ants are pesky little insects and this nontoxic home remedy for how to kill ants is a lifesaver for any homeowner! It’s simple. My sister (the quilter) has been telling me for months to share this quick tip with all of you so here you go! Get ready to be rid of ants in an inexpensive and all-natural way that’s EASY and FAST! There are many ways out there but these ingredients are usually household items so there’s no need to wait for a trip to the store. Plus, our aunt told us about this one and it works. Thanks, Aunt Diane!

Baking Soda and Confectioner's SugarYou will need:

  • Baking Soda
  • Confectioners Sugar (Powdered Sugar)
  • Shallow Plastic Covers (from containers like yogurt, cottage cheese, sour cream, etc)
  • Sprinkles of Water

Directions:

Combine equal parts of baking soda and confectioner’s sugar in a dish. Make sure it is confectioner’s sugar so it meshes together well. Ants can separate it otherwise.
Mix together well.
Add a few sprinkles of water to make it clump together even more.
Divide mixture into several plastic covers and place where you have seen ants.

The ants will eat this mixture, the baking soda will expand and the ants will explode.

Because this mixture will kill individual ants and you may be inundated by the time you find our post on how to kill them, you may want to try an Organic Ant And Roach Killer also and then use this remedy for smaller problems.
