The Butterfinger Protein shake recipe is amazing! Chocolate, peanut butter, healthy… um, yeah, it’s one of my favorite recipes for obvious reasons! I first had this as a Visalus shake recipe but found it works well with any protein powder.
I’m a HUGE candy lover. But I know scarfing down Butterfingers every time I want something sweet is not a great idea for my health or my weight management. This protein shake is a great substitute! And I can have it as a meal, even breakfast. Hmmm, candy for breakfast – YES, PLEASE!
It’s super fast to make in any blender. Cocoa, butterscotch pudding mix, and peanut butter are the main ingredients but if you want to change it up and leave any part out, it’s still going to taste amazing! Add ice and skim milk or coconut milk along with the protein powder of your choice. Once it’s well blended, pour it in a tall to-go cup for a tasty meal on the run.

I’ve also had amazing results with an Almond Joy Protein shake. I’m thinking it’d be great to have a whole candy protein shake collection! What do you think? Would you make and drink them? What about your kids? You are in luck! I have a Snicker’s Protein Shake in the makings…!
I think candy flavored protein shakes would be a great way to introduce protein shakes to children and teens. It can be so tough to get them to eat healthily, but telling them it’s a shake that tastes like their favorite candy is pure genius! BOOM! Healthy food in the tummy without a fight.
Did you make the Butterfingers Protein shake recipe? How did you like it? Would you change anything? I love hearing from fellow shake lovers. Happy cooking (or blending as the case may be)!
