Easy & Healthy Homemade Strawberry Shortcake Recipe

  • 1 Pint Fresh Strawberries Hulled, rinsed and sliced
  • 1 Package Mini Dessert Shells (Also called sponge cakes)
  • 1 Can Whipped Cream
  • 1-2 Teaspoons Sweetener I like Sweet N Low


  • Place sliced strawberries in a saucepan on medium for 5-10 minutes or until they reach the consistency you like. The longer you warm them, the mushier they will become.
  • Add 1-2 teaspoons sweetener and stir. I use 2 packages of Sweet N Low but anything will work.
  • Take 1 mini dessert shell per per person and place in bowl.
  • Spoon strawberries over the top.
  • Top with whipped cream.
