Maple Dijon Glazed Salmon Recipe

For the Salmon:
- 4 salmon fillets skin-on or skinless
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
For the Maple Dijon Glaze:
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika optional
Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon dry and season with salt and black pepper.
Make the Glaze: Whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and smoked paprika.
Sear the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon skin-side down for 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook for 2 more minutes.
Glaze & Cook: Reduce heat to medium-low, pour the glaze over the salmon, and cook for 2-3 more minutes, basting with the glaze.
Serve: Transfer to a plate and drizzle with remaining glaze.
- Baking Method: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes, brushing with glaze halfway through.
- Air Fryer Method: Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, brushing with glaze halfway through.
