Fruit Crumble Recipe
Oats, flour, brown sugar, and fragrant spices are the perfect topping for any fresh, frozen, or canned fruit.

Filling Ingredients:
- 1 cup of fresh frozen (thawed), or canned (drained) fruit or berry, diced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon flour
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Pinch of allspice
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 tablespoons old fashioned oats
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter softened
Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
Combine the fruit or berries, sugar, flour, cinnamon, allspice, and vanilla in a small bowl.
Transfer the fruit or berries to a small baking dish (5x5 or 4x6).
Whisk the flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Blend in the butter with a fork until crumbly.
Sprinkle the topping over the fruit or berries.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until apples are soft and the topping is golden. Enjoy warm or cold.
NOTE: Crumble is a perfect dish to experiment with combinations of berries and/or fruits.
