Crockpot Spaghetti Sauce - Crockpot Freezer Recipe

Spaghetti Sauce made in the slow cooker (crock pot) that can be made and frozen ahead of time.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Pounds Ground Beef
  • 2 Cups Onion chopped
  • 3 Cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1 28 Ounce Can Diced Tomatoes undrained
  • 2 15 Ounce Cans Tomato Sauce
  • 1 6 Ounce Can Tomato Paste
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Basil Leaves
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Brown beef in a large skillet and drain.
  • Add onion and garlic to drained burger and cook another 10 minutes.
  • Let mixture cool. Meanwhile, add the rest of the ingredients to gallon freezer bag (or crockpot if cooking immediately).
  • Once meat mixture is cooled, add to freezer bag. Remove excess air and freeze.
  • Defrost in refrigerator the night before cooking.
  • Place in crock pot and cook on low heat 8-9 hours.
  • Serve with spaghetti and salad for a delicious meal!
