Banana bread is an easy bread that freezes well for future use. I cut wax paper and place between the slices of bread. Then we can grab a piece out of the freezer and thaw without it sticking together. Mmmm, it’s the perfect breakfast for school mornings!

Ingredients
  • 3/4 Cup Butter At Room Temperature
  • 1 1/2 Cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 1/3 Tablespoons Milk
  • 3 Bananas Ripened
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 1/2 Cups Chocolate Chips
  • 1 1/2 Cups Peanut Butter Chips
Servings: loafs
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, use a mixer on low to combine the sugar and the butter.
  2. Add eggs and blend.
  3. Add milk and the bananas and mix for about 1 minute. The batter may look lumpy but this is fine.
  4. Add the flour and baking soda and mix until blended.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.
  6. Spray 2 loaf pans with non-stick spray and divide the batter among the pans.
  7. Bake for approximately 1 hour. Check by placing a toothpick in the middle. If it comes out clean the bread is done.
