Vegetable and Beef Chili

April 5, 2020 By Christina Leave a Comment

This vegetable and beef chili recipe came from the Beyond Diet 7 Day Rescue plan and is one of my favorites. I can have this ready in 15 minutes and I usually have all the ingredients on hand. And of course, I make a lot every time and fill the freezer and have a quick go-to lunch idea. For lunch, I add some rice in. For dinner, I just eat it plain or use it as my pizza sauce on homemade pizzas. As a snack, I put it on top of tortilla chips with some cheese. Can I just say these are amazing nachos without a lot of the added effort and one of our faves!Vegetable and beef chili [Read more…]

Zesty Vegetable and Beef Meatloaf Recipe

March 28, 2020 By Christina Leave a Comment

This zesty beef meatloaf recipe is one of my favorites. The best part about it is that touch of spicy that most meatloaf recipes don’t have. AND the added nutrients from the vegetables is a bonus. When we make this meatloaf we make a bunch of them and throw them in the freezer for a quick and easy meal. During these times, being able to plan ahead matters. If you haven’t caught our post Stretching Supplies During the Coronavirus, it might be of interest to you. Keeping to yourself is pretty important these days and if you can limit how often you venture into public you’ll limit your risk to exposure.beef meatloaf recipe slices [Read more…]

Mmmmm! This is another of our favorites from the Sisters Know Best Crockpot Freezer Series. We like it so much because the sausage is actually turkey burger flavored like sausage so it’s healthy and hearty. Get the sausage seasoning recipe here. This Crockpot Sausage and Bean Supper recipe is easy to make, freezes well, and can feed a lot of people. We served it 2 different ways. I opted for it on rice and Bill put his in a wrap. Bill and I had ours completely different and we both loved it! He had his on a sub roll with ketchup, mustard, relish (he’s the condiment king). I had mine with mustard and green tobasco to make it a little spicy.

Crockpot Beef Tips & Gravy Recipe

October 14, 2015 By Christina Gammon Leave a Comment

These Crockpot Beef Tips & Gravy are part of our Crockpot Freezer Meal Series and they are delicious! I will say they had more of a beef stew consistency from cooking all day but I wouldn’t change them. The beefy broth was scrumptious to the point we wanted to drink it! LOL, maybe not that drastic but it was very good.

One alteration I made is adding pepper and onion at the end. This step was not in the original beef tip recipe. I’m glad I thought to do it though as it added to the taste and texture.

Do you like# burritos? You will love this #recipe and how much time it saves you! Beef and cheddar burritos made ahead and put in the freezer are the way to go! I made these when I made the other meals in the Crockpot Freezer Series and we had them for the first time last night. They are not a crockpot meal but they do go in the freezer. The trick is wrapping them in both the paper towel and aluminum. They were delicious and fresh!
