Chem-Free New Year’s Eve Party Food Ideas

Recovering addicts, pregnant women, underage people, and others spending New Year’s Eve without alcohol to celebrate the night may also find that traditional food options only make them miss the beer or wine they’d normally (or shouldn’t) be drinking. Instead, check out these creative options.

Mini Breakfast Quiche

Most New Year’s Eve food is appetizers that seem to beckon booze. To keep the craving away and enjoy tasty finger food, try a mini quiche. Small enough to eat while mingling and playing games, and evoking breakfast – a typically alcohol free meal.

Breakfast Wraps

Using that same logic, breakfast wraps are a great idea. Slice them into quarters or eighths to make them finger food sized.

Breakfast Sliders

Are you seeing the theme here? Good. Let’s face it. Breakfast is great anytime and since New Year’s Eve parties go well into the morning, why not start eating breakfast right from the start of the party? Breakfast sliders are a perfect finger food and you can make them with many fillings to offer a variety.

Alcohol Free New Year’s Eve Party Drinks

Sparkling Cranberry Ginger Punch

Keep the punch bowl flowing all night long! With this cranberry ginger punch, your guests can have as much as they want and still be sober enough to drive home.

Pineapple Coconut Mocktail

Reminiscent of a Piña Colada, this alcohol-free cocktail offers all the fun and flavors of the tropics without the effects of alcohol. Add the curly straw and paper umbrella to complete the tropical look.

Mock Champagne

No New Year’s Eve is complete without the toast at midnight. You can keep it alcohol free and still break out the Champagne flutes with this great Mock Champaign recipe.

Alcohol Free New Year’s Eve Activities

Without alcohol taking the edge off and loosening tongues, the typical mingling and laughter might not come as easily. But don’t worry! With the right games, everyone will be laughing, talking, and enjoying each other in no time.Celebrate New Year's Eve with alcohol free party games food and drinks.

Dance, Dance, Dance

Show off your hidden talents and encourage your guests to do the same with a dance party. You’ll be surprised! Once a few guests start busting a move, the rest will follow.

Make a Wish and Let It Fly

It’s traditional to set goals and resolutions on New Year’s Eve. Why not make some wishes too? Share them, or not, and then let them fly.  We hope they come true!

Cards Against Humanity

This game will have everyone in stitches. It’s definitely an adults-only activity, so wait until any kiddos have gone to bed. Irreverent, funny, and downright lewd sometimes, with the right crowd, you could play Cards Against Humanity all night!

Going alcohol-free on New Year’s Eve doesn’t have to be boring or lonely. You and your friends can have a great time with tasty food, excellent alcohol-free drinks, and hilarious activities.
